Financial Aid   

Hours In-Person:
Monday - Thursday 10:00am – 4:00pm

Financial Aid Lab Hours: Monday 10:00am – 2:00pm, Tuesday 11:30 – 3:30pm
The financial aid lab is available to assist students with applying for financial aid, completing financial aid forms, creating an FSA ID, and assisting students with making changes/corrections to their FAFSA or Dream Act application.

Remote Hours: Monday - Thursday 9:00am – 6:00pm, Friday 9:00am – 1:00pm. Note: The general phone line will close 30 minutes before close of business each day.

 Apply for Financial Aid: 

Students may apply for a variety of financial assistance using the FAFSA or CA Dream Act applications.  Our LMC school code is 010340. If  you require assistance in applying for financial aid, please contact your financial aid advisor to schedule a phone or Zoom appointment.

Turning in Documents: 

1. Log in to InSite at m.4cd.edu 
2. Click on the Financial Aid tile 
3. Click on Financial Aid Home 
4. Click on Complete Required Documents. Your required documents are listed here with links to the document(s).  Click on the document link(s) and you will be redirected to the form.

Students may also upload documents, such as a CalVet fee waiver, by clicking on the Document Uploader.

General Financial Aid Advising: 

If you would like to discuss your financial aid file and/or have specific questions regarding your financial aid, student appointments may be done over the phone or online using Zoom. Please contact your financial aid advisor via email and/or phone to schedule an appointment.  Advisors are assigned to students based on the first letter of a student’s name.  

Financial Aid Disbursement: 

Financial aid funds are disbursed on scheduled dates each term.  Students who are currently enrolled in an eligible program, have a completed financial aid file and are eligible for a federal and/or state grant will receive a disbursement each semester. Please see Financial Aid Disbursement Calendar for more information on disbursement policy for each grant type.   
 

LMC partners with BankMobile Disbursement to deliver financial aid to students.  All financial aid recipients MUST select a refund preference.

1.  Log into m.4cd.edu. 
2. Once logged in, tap the Financial Aid tile
3. Select My FA Disbursements from the menu
4. Select BankMobile- First Time Setup to select your refund preference.

The Federal Work - Study (FWS) Program:

The FWS program offers on-campus part-time employment to qualified students. The average annual award is $4,000!  For more information, visit Types of Aid, and select Federal Work Study and Student Employment.

    • Students with OR without DACA
    • Students with U-visas (victims of crimes)
    • Student with TPS status (temporary protected status)

    FALL 2021

    You may submit Financial Aid Appeals at any point throughout the semester up until the established deadline for the term. Financial Aid Appeals will be collected, but not processed until grades from the previous term have been posted by the Admissions & Records Office.

    *Students are responsible for meeting all deadlines advertised below. All Financial Aid correspondences are sent to students’ Insite email. Students are advised to check their Insite email frequently.

    2021-2022 Financial Aid Documentation

    If you are required to submit additional paperwork to determine your eligibility for financial aid, we strongly encourage you to complete the process in a timely manner.  All issues and/or documents stated in your Missing Information Checklist (MICL) on your Insite Portal, must be resolved and/or submitted to the LMC Financial Aid Office by the Summer Payment Document Deadline publicized on the  Financial Aid Payment Calendar (Sept. 3, 2022). Applicants who fail to provide documentation within the specified time period will not be packaged or awarded aid.
