Free Counseling for Student borrowers

Student loan payment pause extended through December 31, 2022.

The Department of Education announced it would continue suspending loan payments and waiving interest on student loans owned by the department until December 31, 2022.

Remember that you NEVER have to pay to take advantage of these relief efforts and there currently is no guidance on potential loan forgiveness. Federal Student Aid warns borrowers to not accept unexpected offers of financial aid or help (such as a “pandemic grant” or “Biden loan forgiveness”) without checking with your school to see if the offer is legit.
