Check out the tech you need to succeed at LMC! We have hotspots, calculators, chromebooks, and laptops for the STEM classes that require specific programs available to check out for the semester. 

Special pre-semester pick up Thursday August 21st from 12-5PM at the Pittsburg campus library.

  • Technology Equipment Distribution

    First, complete the Student Technology Loan Program Use & Liability Agreement

    Check out hotspots, webcams, and laptops 

    Check out calculators at the Math Lab

    • Pittsburg campus Math Lab is located on the first floor of the Math building
      • Monday - Thursday / 11AM-5PM
    • Brentwood center Math Lab is located in the Brentwood Commons
      • Monday-Thursday 11AM-5PM

    Devices are due on the final day of the semester, and should be returned to an LMC library employee at either campus. Do not put the equipment in the book return slot.

  • Return & Renewal 

    Devices are due on the final day of the semester, and should be returned to an LMC library employee at either campus. Do not put the equipment in the book return slot.

    Tech Renew Process:
    If you are enrolled for the next semester and would like to renew the loaned tech items you have checked out, please contact the LMC Library at library@losmedanos.edu. 

    Return locations:

    • Library in Pittsburg
      • Monday  -  Thursday  /  8:00 AM to 7:00 PM
      • Fridays 9:00 AM to 1:00PM
    • Library  in Brentwood
      • Monday  - Thursday / 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
    • Student Services, Information Desk (Pittsburg Campus)
      • Monday - Thursday / 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

    The equipment must be returned back to an employee working at the return station who will inspect it for damaged or missing items (charging cables must be returned too). 

    You MAY NOT return the equipment into the Library Dropbox.

    If you cannot return the equipment on one of these dates, you must contact the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging at equity@losmedanos.edu to request alternate arrangements. If you do not renew or return the equipment on one of these dates, your student account may be charged for the full replacement value and with academic/transcript holds.
