    Computer Labs

    The Drop-in Lab and Library are staff-assisted open computer labs where students can use word processing, spreadsheet, database, and other software as well as have access to the Internet. LMC also has a number of computer labs that are reserved for the use of students enrolled in specific classes.

    Computer Use Policies

    LMC students enjoy certain rights and must fulfill certain
    responsibilities     to maintain the privilege of using computing
    resources at LMC. Computer use policies apply to anyone who uses any computer system, network system, Internet or Intranet web site, teleconferencing, or other data processing equipment located on site at Los Medanos College. Most labs on campus have their policies posted; however if you can't locate them, ask a staff member.

    Student Email Accounts

    Students enrolled in LMC credit classes can communicate with faculty and fellow students using their free  LMC email account.

    You can get a LMC email account even if you don't use LMC resources to connect to the Internet. Once you have enrolled at LMC and have an InSite account, you can access your email account by going to mail.4cd.edu.

    InSite

    InSite is a web interface to WebAdvisor (the College Student Records system) that enables credit LMC students to view personal information, including grades, transcripts, and financial information, and to register online and pay tuition online. InSite is your personal dashboard that shows your schedule, important messages just for you, reminders about deadlines and other important campus information, events, and news about the college. Log in to InSite
