THE LMC LIBRARY BRENTWOOD CENTER IS CLOSED FOR WINTER BREAK FROM DECEMBER 12, 2025 TO JANUARY 25, 2026.
- If you have questions about your Library account, fines, or checking out textbooks or laptops, please call (925) 513-1646.
- During Library closure, laptops and hotspots can be returned at the Admissions & Records desk in Bentwood from December 15th-18th and January 2nd-23rd, from 9am to 5pm or at the Information Desk in Student Services on the Pittsburg campus.
- To return Library books, view our Return Instructions. NOTE: The Brentwood Library book drop will not be accessible from December 20 to January 1.

Welcome to the LMC Library at Brentwood! We are located inside the Student Commons wing. Come on in to study, do homework, get help with your research, and relax!
Fall Hours
Monday-Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday-Sunday: Closed.
Hours may change due to staffing.
The Library will be closed for these holidays:
- September 1st (Labor Day)
- October 13th (Indigenous Peoples' Day)
- November 11th (Veterans Day)
- November 27th & 28th (Thanksgiving)

Books, Textbooks, & Laptops
Most reserve textbooks check out for one week at a time, with some exceptions that may require a shorter checkout period.
Our regular non-reserve books check out for 3 weeks at a time.
The Library distributes Chromebook laptops for LMC's Equity Technology Program. View details on their webpage or call the Brentwood Library to confirm that we have laptops available for checkout.
Printing and scanning are available. For details, see the Brentwood information on the Library's Print/Copy/Scan page.
Study Rooms
The Brentwood Student Commons has 3 study rooms available for students or tutoring. Reserve a room in advance for up to 2 hours.

These are the hours when a Librarian is generally available at Brentwood. You are welcome to walk in and request help in during these hours:
Monday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM; 4:00 - 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM; 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
All hours are subject to change based on librarian availability.
