Steps to apply to LMC CalWORKs

  1. Submit an application for Admissions to LMC

  2. Take Guided Self-Placement for Math and English placement. (Will need your HS Transcript)

  3. Complete the New Student Online Orientation 

  4. Make appointment with CalWORKs Counselor to complete your 2 year comprehends educational plan 

  5. Register for classes via InSite.  Classes need to reflect courses on the educational plan signed by the LMC CalWORKs counselor.

  6. Attend LMC CalWORKs Orientation to pick-up program application and voucher forms to turn into your  Welfare to Work (WTW)  specialist at your  Employment & Human Services (EHSD). (Now your ready to make an appointment with your WTW) 

  7. Apply for Financial Aid & California Promise Grant
