Alert II Workshops
If you have not attended courses during the past 12 months, you must complete an Admissions Application for Returning Student in order to receive instructions for the Alert II Workshop. Follow this link to complete an Admissions Application for Returning Students
Alert II Workshops are designed to assist students who are experiencing academic difficulties
learn more about the policies that determine their academic standing, connect them
with relevant resources, and to provide information to regain Good Academic Standing.
It is required before petitioning for enrollment in Summer/Fall 2025 class(es).
Alert II Workshops are available in-person at the Pittsburg campus (except where indicated) during the posted times on a first-come
first-served basis. Please check workshop location closely when enrolling. It is a two-part process that may span over several days. Students must arrive on-time and are encouraged
to wear a mask. Parking Permit is required. Daily permits can be obtained through
InSite RESOURCE Tile or MyCampusPermit.com. Vehicle license plate number, make, model and color is required.
Completion of the Alert II Workshop includes participation in a workshop and meeting
with a Student Success Center counselor to review your Alert II Worksheet, update
your educational plan, learn about campus resources, and address any academic questions/concerns.
All steps must be completed before your petition for enrollment will be reviewed and
a determination made.
Prepare for the workshop by reviewing the time sensitive instructions available in
your InSite email the evening prior to appointment.

Although Alert II Workshops are offered year-round, students may only petition for enrollment through the first
week of each semester.
(Please note: The Office of the California Community College Chancellors has stipulated that Alert
II and Dismissal students will no longer be eligible for priority registration and
will be ineligible for the California College Promise Grant).
