Pittsburg, Calif. — Los Medanos College (LMC) is proud to introduce a dynamic team of success coaches hired to guide students through their educational journey on pathways aligned with their areas of interest. The success coaches focus on five pathways: behavioral science and social science; arts, humanities, and communication; business, manufacturing, and transportation; health and public service; and STEM.

“Our goal is to ensure students have someone they trust to provide direction as they explore areas of interest and build the credits they need to graduate,” Vice President of Student Service Tanisha Maxwell said. “Our new coaches enhance a robust support system LMC has built to help students stay the course, including academic counselors, learning communities, student clubs, and even free telehealth and mental health services.”
