LMC Mustangs won first game Friday 18-6 against Cañada College

Pittsburg, Calif.: Heavy rains pushed to Sunday the second game of the 2024 3C2A Baseball Northern California Regional Playoffs, where LMC Mustangs vie with Cañada College Colts.

The series resumes at 11:30 a.m. at Los Medanos College Baseball Field, 2700 E. Leland Road, where LMC hopes to continue its winning streak well into the post season.

The Mustangs (No. 6) went into the series Friday, boasting a 12-2 record in conference play, and an impressive 30-9 overall record. They beat the Colts 18-6 on Friday, getting closer to securing a spot in the Northern California Super Regional Playoffs next week. If Cañada College prevails on Sunday, the series moves into a double-header tiebreaker.
