Electrical Technology (ETEC) is a career education program that offers students a certificate or associate of science degree in electrical technology.  ETEC graduates work in petrochemical industries, water purification, energy manufacturing, mass transit and other industries that have intricate electrical systems. These industries need employees with high levels of technical skills, excellent communication skills and technical knowledge from the get-go in order to succeed in the globally competitive environment. 


Program includes the following courses:

January 22nd-May 24th, 2018 Spring Semester

 

ETEC-009 ETEC Mathematics  TTH 5:30-6:50PM 3 units
COUNS-034 College Success   W  2:30-3:50PM 1.5 units
ETEC-010 Direct Current Circuits (1/22 – 3/22)  MTWTH 7-9:50PM  4 units
ETEC-012 Alternating Current Circuits (4/2 – 5/24) MTWTH 7-10:10pm 4 units

 

Total units required - 12.5

All student fees, including books and supplies, are provided by a grant from the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office.
