Why should I attend?
High School Senior Saturday helps new students have a successful transition to college
through introducing them to helpful college services and resources. During Senior
Saturday, incoming students can expect to meet staff, student leaders, counselors,
faculty, administrators, and future classmates. Workshops will focus on Major and
Career selection, Learning Communities, Financial Aid and Scholarships, and more!
Do I have to sign-up or can I just drop-in?
Yes, we ask that students register for Senior Saturday so we can be best prepared and
can make sure we have enough space for all attendees. We do accept drop-ins during
morning registration, but because of the reasons given, it is preferable that students
Who can attend?
Recent high school graduates and their supporters (parents, guardians, friends, etc.)
are welcome to attend.
What time should I arrive?
Check-in will begin near the GYM at 8:30 am, which is 30 minutes before the program
What should I bring?
You should have a current application on file and know your LMC Student ID number.
Also, bring a photo ID (drivers license, passport, or high school ID).
Where do I park and do I have to pay for parking?
You may park in any of the campus parking lots, but lots A (by the Library) and B
(by the football field) are closest to the day's activities. Campus Map
There will be no charge for parking.
Are meals provided?
Yes. Free lunch is provided to all guests*.
Is it mandatory?
Senior Saturday is not mandatory; however, new students are strongly encouraged to
attend because it will help them fulfill requirements for priority registration, and
connect with learning communities and other academic and social groups, all of which
provide proven successful support.
