    Library Book Reserve
    The LMC Library has a catalog of books on reserve for some of the courses offered at LMC. To search for a specific book, you can search the library catalog with book title or call (925) 473-7570 for information.

    LMC Bookstore Loan Program sponsored by LMCAS

    Zero Cost Textbooks (ZTC)
    Zero Textbook Cost sections (for select courses) means that students pay nothing for the educational resources such as textbooks. This means not having to take a reduced load because you cannot afford the books, no more borrowing from professors or classmates, and no more missing assignments because you do not have the book! Look for the ZTC symbol when scheduling your classes.

  • Tutoring

    Center for Academic Support
    The Center for Academic Support offers in person and virtual tutoring support to all students of LMC.

    Reading and Writing Consultations 

    Math Lab- all students enrolled in a math course, are also enrolled in the virtual Math Lab Canvas course. Log into Canvas and accept your invitation to join.

    MESA Center
    The MESA Program was founded by the University of California and provides academic support for thousands of educationally and economically disadvantaged students so they can excel in math and science. The MESA Center provides in person and online tutoring to MESA Students.

    NetTutor provides live student-to-tutor video/audio/text chat sessions.  All tutors have a minimum of a bachelor's degree and have robust training in providing tutoring to adult learners. Look for NetTutor in your Canvas Course Menu
