Los Medanos College Employer Posting Policy

Introduction: 
Los Medanos College is a public community college that provides quality educational opportunities for roughly 14,000 students per year within the changing and diverse communities of East Contra Costa County. We strive to embody our core values of Learning, Collaboration, Communication, and Community Engagement while providing a diverse and equitable academic and cultural environment. The following policies are based on those values, and any organization that violates these policies may be restricted from campus recruiting. 

Los Medanos College Career Services will provide services to employers whose opportunities meet the following basic criteria: 

Posting Guidelines: All recruiting organizations are expected to accurately describe their organization, positions, requirements, and application process when representing their opportunities. 
Employment Guidelines: The position posted meets California’s employee definition according to the Employment Development Department’s Employment Determination Guide. 
Compensation Guidelines: Base salary is equal to or greater than California state minimum wage (calculated over any time scale). 
Compliance with Laws and Policies: Employer complies with all Federal Equal Employment Laws, California State Labor Standards Enforcement Law, and Los Medanos College Privacy Policy
