The purpose of the BSU is to provide and promote economic, political, and academic enrichment, and develop unity among the Black students at LMC. The Black Student Union attempts to create awareness about issues relating to Black culture through its sponsorship and involvement in programs on campus.
The objective of the BSU is to develop unity amongst Black students, to communicate the perspectives of the Black community on campus, and to become the official student voice and representatives on issues concerning Black students.
