Welcome to RISE
Resilience, Inclusion, Self-Empowerment
RISE is a support program for students who have been impacted by the justice system. We understand that being justice-impacted can mean being legally, economically, or emotionally affected by the criminal justice system. This includes students who have been incarcerated, or have a close relative who has been incarcerated, students who have been arrested and/or convicted without incarceration, domestic violence survivors, and wards of the court.
We are committed to supporting justice-impacted students, including those transitioning after incarceration. We recognize that some students may prefer to receive support while maintaining their privacy, while others may wish to connect with peers who have had similar life experiences. Therefore, we offer both foundational support and access to a supportive community.
