Does an exciting career of community service making a difference in the lives of others while also providing for personal economic stability sound good to you?
Each day Administration of Justice professionals touch the lives of millions of people through its component parts: law enforcement, the courts, and correctional systems. Our instructors at Los Medanos College are experts in their fields. Not only are they excellent instructors, but most are also currently Administration of Justice professionals. The instruction you receive here at Los Medanos is up-to-date and relevant.
The Administration of Justice program at Los Medanos College offers an Associate in Science Degree, which is articulated with the California State University system. Our focus is two-fold; to offer a program that academically prepares our graduates for success at the baccalaureate level while also preparing our graduates for entry-level careers in the various fields in the Administration of justice as either sworn or civilian professionals. We accomplish this by exposing our students to a series of courses within the major and through General requirement courses that develop social awareness, written communications skills, cultural sensitivity, and knowledge of legal concepts.
A sixty-unit Associate of Science degree in Administration of Justice can be earned by attending both day and evening classes in four semesters.
