Criteria

1. Full-time continuing student at LMC for fall 2014 and spring 2015 or transferring LMC student to a four-year college/university Fall 2014. To remain eligible for grant, during academic year the recipient must be enrolled in: 12 units if not teaching or working, 8 units if working but not teaching, or 6 units if teaching

2. Be a resident of Contra Costa County

3. Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions

4. Typed statement up to 300 words covering career goals, community service, school experience, financial need and any other important information

5. Two letters of recommendation, one from a faculty member and one from a community member
