Spend the month of July, 2025 with Los Medanos College in Paris. Picture yourself living in the heart of Paris experiencing its iconic museums, cuisine and beauty. Information workshops start in October.

You'll be so much more than a tourist  when you spend the entire month of July 2025  with Professor Edward Haven and students/professors from several  other California community colleges.  Imagine days spent strolling by the Seine after class, eating delicious French cuisine and enjoying custom-led trips to all the local must-see spots.    Highlights include:

  • Lodging in central-Paris dorms near the Luxembourg Gardens & only 10-minutes from the Louvre museum;
  • Guided visits to the Louvre,  Musée d'Orsay, and other cultural sites;
  • Humanities 23: Paris comes to live in this 3-unit IGETC class focused on post-WW II France and its cinema, philosophy and art;
  • Ticket to the ballet or opera along with a month-long metro/bus pass;
  • Day trips to Monet's Giverny gardens and the medieval town of Provins
  • A weekend in Alsace with two nights in scenic Colmar and day trips to Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle and Kayserberg

2025 Program Fees

Double Room*                              $4,250

Single Room Supplement      $ 300-650

 

 


Eligibility:   This program is open to all  people who will be at least 18 years old on July 1, 2025. Exceptions made on a case-by-case basis. 

Program fees include accommodation and selected meal plan*, ballet or opera ticket, all excursions including transportation and lodging for the Alsace weekend, museum/monument entry fees for program activities, bus/metro pass for Paris, international student ID and a series of French Civilization, Culture and History lectures.

Program fees do not include College tuition & course textbooks, transportation to and from the program, independent travel, personal items (visas, passport, laundry), medical, accident, baggage loss, personal liability, trip cancellation insurance, and lunches/dinners in some dorms.

*Meal plan options:  Students have a choice of two dorms, both of which include continental breakfast daily.  One dorm also includes weeknight dinners with the program fee.  The other offers only breakfast, but has private bathrooms.  For more details see the program brochure. or the ESA website.
