LMC Mustangs advance to Northern California Super Regional PlayoffsPittsburg, Calif. – The LMC Mustangs are charging into the Northern California Super Regional Playoffs after a commanding two-game sweep of Butte College, closing out the 2025 3C2A Baseball Northern California Regionals in style.

Next up: The Super Regional double-elimination showdown featuring No. 2 seed West Valley College, No. 7 seed Skyline College, and our No. 14 seed LMC Mustangs. The Mustangs take the field at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, at West Valley College in Saratoga, Calif., against Skyline College. The Skyline Trojans arrive with a 29-10 record and fresh momentum from their own two-game sweep over Consumnes River College.

Host West Valley College opens the Super Regional with a first-round bye and will face the loser of the LMC–Skyline matchup. From there, it’s win-or-go-home until a champion emerges.

The Mustangs are riding high on a 14-game win streak, backed by an 18-3 conference record and a 28-13 overall mark. Skyline brings a 15-5 conference record and sits at 31-10 overall. As for West Valley, the Vikings enter with a 17-3 conference run and an imposing 33-9 overall tally.
