*Students are responsible for meeting all deadlines advertised below. All Financial Aid correspondences are sent to students’ Insite email. Students are advised to check their emails and WebAdvisor frequently, in regards to their Financial Aid Status.

2016-2017 Financial Aid Document Deadline

If you are required to submit additional paperwork to determine you eligibility for financial aid, we strongly encourage you to complete the process in a timely manner.  All issues and/or documents stated in your Missing Information Checklist (MICL) posted to WebAdvisor, must be resolved and/or submitted to the LMC Financial Aid Office by the Summer Payment Document Deadline publicized on the Financial Aid Payment Calendar (September 8, 2017).  Applicants who fail to provide documentation within the specified time period will not be packaged or awarded aid.

 

Steps To Apply for Financial Aid

 

Step 1: Apply (Beginning October 1st)  Complete and submit the FAFSA or CA Dream Act application and verified Cal Grant GPA. Step 2: Check your InSite Portal student email account for further instructions. Step 3: Complete required  documents, as listed on  your checklist on InSite    Portal. If you don’t have     required documents,     check your Financial Aid  Award Letter. You may have  an Award Package  waiting!
Step 4: Submit your forms/ documents to the Office of Financial Aid Step 5: Check your InSite Portal for your updated Award Letter  and wait for the next check    disbursement date. Step 6: Check the Financial Aid Disbursement Schedule  Complete and submit the    FAFSA or CA Dream Act     application and verified    Cal Grant GPA.

 

 

Pittsburg - Financial Aid Lab Hours

The Financial Aid Lab, located in the Financial Aid Office, Room 309 in the New Student Services Center, is OPEN at the following times:

 

July 31 - August 25

Tuesdays 2-4pm

Wednesday 10am-12pm

Thursday 10am-12pm

 

August 28 - December 15

Tuesdays 2-4pm

Wednesday 10am-12pm

New Brentwood - Financial Aid Drop-In Hours

The Financial Aid Office at Brentwood Center will be offering new hours, effective February 6, 2017, located in the Financial Aid Office, Room C2.

Monday and Thursday 9am -12pm & 1-3pm

Tuesday and Wednesday 2-7pm

Friday 9am-12pm
