Assisting students who plan to transfer
In the Transfer Center we have a variety of information regarding transferring; such as college catalogs, drop-in advising and even one-on-one appointments with representatives from universities.
About the Transfer Center
Los Medanos College Transfer Center offers assistance to students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university.
Students can transfer to a four-year college or university after completing at least 60 semester transferable units. Universities have lower-division general education and major requirements which can be fulfilled at LMC prior to transferring. Those students eligible for admission from high school may apply to transfer before junior status.
The Transfer Center is the college's clearing house for transfer activities and programs and serves as the link between LMC and California's four year colleges and universities. The Transfer Center links LMC with 10 University of California campuses, 23 California State University campuses, historically Black colleges and universities, many independent colleges and universities located throughout the state, and out-of-state colleges and universities.
