This symposium will showcase projects by artists, scientists and activists. It will happen simultaneously online on Waterwheel's Tap* & at Los Medanos College (LMC) Gallery in California, in the context of the CONVERGENCE/DIVERGENCE exhibition organised by WEAD (Women Environmental Artist Directory) and curated by the initiator & co-founder of Waterwheel.
Each presentation will be maximum 20minutes including Q&A from audience online and at LMC.
* Waterwheel enables meaningful sharing on this vital topic through its unique free video-conferencing & media mixing system: the Tap - like a combination of skype group video, flickr and youtube for all kinds of media, focused on water. Waterwheel provides a platform for thinkers, activists, artists, scientists and educators to inform, debate, present and archive about water. It supports digital and sustainability culture, minimising both carbon & water footprints by eliminating distance between collaborators.
