Art for the real world
The Art Department offers classes in ceramics, sculpture, 3-D design, painting, drawing and photography. Graphic design classes are also available, including classes where students apply concepts using Adobe software including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
In 2010, Los Medanos College finished a complete remodel of the Art Department instructional space. Our beautiful new facilities include a new graphic design computer lab; separate design, painting and drawing labs; and a vastly expanded 3-D and ceramics space.
