Transfer Academy

Is Transfer Academy for me?

Do you need help exploring your major options?

Do you want to transfer but don't know where to start?

Do you want to meet other first-time college students?

Do you want to learn about how to become a successful college student?

Then the answer is..yes!

Applying for Transfer Academy:

  • Am I eligible for Transfer Academy?

If you are a first-time college student who is undecided on their major then you are eligible for our program. Most, if not all students who enter our program, do so directly out of high school.

    • You have completed English 100 and/or math 110 at LMC (or the equivalent class at another college)
    • You are a STEM major (Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Pre-medical/dental/veterinary, Physics, etc.)

If you are not eligible, learn about other learning communities:
