District Equal Employment Opportunity Advisory Council (DEEOAC)

The District Equal Employment Opportunity Advisory Council (DEEOAC) is facilitated by the Chief Human Resources Officer and advises, assist and makes recommendation to and through the Executive Vice Chancellor, Administrative Services and Chancellor's Cabinet for the development and implementation of effective Districtwide Equal Employment, Staff Diversity and Disability Access Programs.

 DEEOAC Membership includes the following

  • Three (3) Academic Senate appointees (1 from each college)
  • Four (4) Classified Senate appointees (1 from each College and 1 from District)
  • Four (4) Management Council appointees (1 from each College and 1 from District)
  • Four (4) Local 1 appointees (1 from each College and 1 from District)
  • Three (3) United Faculty appointees (1 from each College)
  • One (1) Confidential Employee
  • The President of United Faculty
  • The President of Local 1
  • The President of the Faculty Senate Coordinating Council
  • A Student Trustee
  • AVC/Chief HR Officer
  • A minimum of at least three (3) of the College representatives shall be current members of each College‚Äôs Equal Employment Opportunity Committee
