Professional Learning and Flex for Faculty and Staff

 

 

Professional Learning(including FLEX)

The Office of College Advancement coordinates professional learning (including Flex) activities through PDAC and the Local Planning Group (LPG) for Flex. Both groups are comprised of Faculty, Managers, and Classified Staff (non-voting on LPG) who review and approve all professional learning and Flex credit-eligible activities prior to implementation.

 

  • Workshop Evaluation Form Template (Please note that a new on-line evaluation system has been implemented and attendees will be sent an evaluation within 24 hours of the activity to complete). Anonymous Results will be shared with Facilitators (unless attendee self-identifies)

  • FLEX-Professional Development Attendance Sign-in Sheets (Blank) You must sign-in at the activity to receive Flex credit and be listed on the registration site for the activity.

LPG rOSTER for 2015-2016

The Local Planning Group for Flex is a shared governance committee whose membership is designated by UF Contract language. It is a requirement of the State that all Flex activities including Flex workshops, Variable Flex activities, and Special Projects be pre-approved by a shared governance process.

Note: Faculty and Manager PDAC and LPG's members overlap, with three (3) additional faculty added to LPG per the UF Contract language. The committees' meetings are scheduled on the same dates, with separate agendas, and the LPG meeting occurs immediately following the PDAC meeting.
