Careers in Small Business Operations

The Small Business Operations AS degree and certificate curriculum is designed to prepare students for success in small business management. This includes starting, operating, and expanding a small business. Courses are geared to the potential or current entrepreneur and to persons who serve as employees of small business firms.


Small Business Operations Salary Averages in California:

General and Operations Manager: $26.75 - $90.00/hour and up

AS Degree or Certificate of Achievement

The Certificate of Achievement requires the completion of at least 24 units of coursework listed above, including 12 units of business electives.


The Associate Degree requires completion of at least 29 units of coursework listed above, including 17 units of business electives, as well as completion of LMC's general education and graduation requirements.
