• Do all of your homework
• Study for every test
• Allow time to do both
• Don't' look at the answers until you are ready to correct
• Read and be thorough with your work
• Finish on time
• Develop good study habits and practice
• Listen to classical music or music without lyrics, because lyrics distract people
• Do a little every day.  Avoid "marathon" study sessions
• Do homework with classmates, tutors, and utilize study groups
