When: Friday, November 14, 2014. We will meet very early at the Oakland airport, fly down and use shuttle vans to get around LA. We will return to Oakland by 9PM.
Cost: $40. This significantly discounted price covers your airline ticket, ground transportation in LA and the conference. You will also need to bring approximately $25 to buy your own lunch and dinner.
Trip Leaders: Honors Director Jennifer Saito, Honors Counselor Luis Morales and Transfer Academy Counselor David Reyes will be leading the LMC delegation.
Application: There are only 24 student spots. Students will be selected by a committee of LMC Learning Community and Student Life leaders through an application process that includes a short essay.
Selected students will be notified by Friday, October 31 and will be required to pay the $40 fee by November 5 to hold the spot.
General Overview: Twenty-four lucky students will be chosen to attend this fascinating annual conference aimed at giving students interested in UCLA the “inside perspective” on this top-notch university. The TAP Conference hosts workshops on a variety of topics including:
* How to be admitted to UCLA
