LMC Career Services is here to help our students and alumni reach their career goals. We offer a variety of services, including career counseling, career exploration, assistance with job and internship search, resume and cover letter development, and interviewing preparation and practice.
Career Readiness
Ready to take the next step toward your future? Enroll in LMC’s self-paced Career Readiness Course to explore your career goals, develop essential workplace skills, and learn how to showcase your strengths to employers. Complete the modules on your own schedule and gain the confidence, professionalism, and skills you need to prepare for your future career!
Major Exploration
Need to discover what career or major is right for you? Don't know where to get started? Meet with Career Services Program Coordinator Reggie Turner for one of our 30-minute appointments to explore who you are and determine what career path might be right for you!
Career Counseling
Need to dig a little deeper into your career prospects and learn more about you, your
options, and how to get to your dream career? Meet with Career Counselor Mark Isham
to unpack who you are, what makes you tick, and what career path will bring you joy.
Career Coaching
Meet with Career Services Program Coordinator, Cynthia Perez-Nicholas, to create or
update your resume, practice your interview skills, search for internships, and develop
your personal brand.
Career Workshops
Attend a workshop to learn more about resume writing, develop your interview skills,
and so much. Workshops are typically one hour in length and are presented by our career
services staff as well as visiting employers and industry experts.
Industry Tours
Join us on one of our tours where we explore what it is really like to work in a certain industry. Each semester we visit various work sites to get the inside scoop on what it's really like to work in that field. All tours are free for current LMC students and are a great way to help you determine if this is the correct career path for you.
Find a Job
Finding a job can be a challenge. But Handshake can make things easier. Handshake is our student job board with jobs posted specifically for our students. Whether you are looking to work on-campus or off, there are many jobs that will suit your needs and school schedule. All jobs are reviewed before being posted, so no scams!
