Support RNURS 14 - .5 Units
Prepares
students for certification as an Emergency Medical Technician. This course
meets the State of California Department
of Health standards for Emergency Medical Training 1A. This course builds
on the "First Responder" curriculum and includes airway control, medical
and traumatic emergencies, care of pediatric, geriatric and specialized
patients, emergency childbirth, multiple patient incidents and understanding
EMS responder well being.
