Thinking about a career as a Police Officer, Deputy Sheriff, 9-1-1 Dispatcher, or Correctional Officer? Would you just like to be a more informed citizen? Los Medanos College is proud to offer a newly accredited Associates Degree in the Administration of Justice. This exciting Degree Program opportunity will prepare students for a career in the Criminal Justice System and for transfer to a four-year institution such as the California State University at Hayward. The Associates Degree curriculum is recognized by the California State University System and meets many four-year degree prerequisits.

The most exciting aspect of this new program is that all of the classes are taught by experienced instructors who are recognized experts in their respective disciplines. Many of the instructors are working law enforcement officers who also teach in the Basic Law Enforcement Academy. The Degree Program classes offer many challenges to students and provide a balance of theory, critical thinking and practical application.
