Tim Griffith takes the reigns as the Head Coach of LMC softball this season. He was the Assistant Softball Coach at Diablo Valley College the last 4 years and enters his 26th year of coaching experience. His coaching career spans a wide range from recreational and travel ball to collegiate softball and semi-pro baseball.
Coach Griffith gained much of his experience playing semi-professional baseball and as the Head Coach of the girl’s 18U Lightning and Lightning Elite Gold softball teams. He has achieved a greater than 90% success rate assisting players to enter college from high school or transfer to 4 year colleges. Tim graduated from the 102nd Police Academy class at Los Medanos College, received an A.A. degree from Diablo Valley College and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports and Health Science with a concentration in coaching from American Military University in West Virginia.
