Coach Bios

Elliot Siler I have been so very fortunate in having the best instructors and role models in my life. To honor them I work my very best as a teacher, coach, and athletic trainer. As a coach I was honored with the “Foothill Conference Coach of the year” in 1997, 1999, 2000, and 2002. As a teacher I have received exemplary reviews from students and colleagues as well as a “Certificate of Appreciation and Recognition” from Antelope Valley College in 2005 and “Adjunct Faculty of the Year” in 2009. As an Athletic Trainer I received the “All Team District 8 Outstanding Athletic Training Award” from the Far West Athletic Trainers Association and the National Athletic Trainers Association of College/University Athletic Trainers’ Committee 2005 “Over & Above” award.

Samantha Rodriguez Coach Samantha Rodriguez recently joined the LMC coaching staff as the new assistant softball coach.  She graduated from Marshall University in 2008.  During her collegiate experience, she won All-Conference selection awards, including two-second team and a first team ALL-Conference USA.  Rodriguez also was the second player in school history name C-USA Hitter of the Week. She began her coaching career as a head coach at Enicnal High School and is presently an assistant coach for the 18Gold Bears. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in biomedical biology with a minor in chemistry in December 2008.
