Those students eligible for admission from high school may transfer at any point.

  • University Applications
  • College Catalogs
  • CSU Requirements (GE)
  • UC Requirements (IGETC)
  • Campus Tour
  • Transfer Admission Agreements (TAA)
  • On-The-Spot Admissions (CSU)
  • Concurrent Enrollment at UC Berkeley
  • Cross Registration & Dual Admissions (CSU Hayward)
  • Eureka - a computerized information system for careers, programs of study, & scholarships
  • Video Library from public & private universities
  • Friendly Atmosphere

Transfer Admission Guarantees:

A Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) is a written contract between you, Los Medanos College, and a specific and participating four-year college or university.  This contract states that if you meet the requirements, you will be admitted to that four-year college or university.  The TAG helps you understand:

  1. The courses you must complete before transferring.
  2. The minimum GPA you must earn
  3. The number of units required to transfer
  4. The specific requirements for selective majors

The following institutions offer TAG's with LMC students: UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Merced, UC Riverside, UC San Diego (beginning for fall 2009), UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, St. Mary's College, and the University of the Pacific.

"On-The-Spot" Admissions are available at several CSU campuses as well as Saint Mary’s College of California.  Other transfer programs include concurrent enrollment with UC Berkeley, cross registration with CSU East Bay, and dual admissions program with CSU East Bay.

The Transfer Center makes it easier for LMC students to transfer successfully!  Visit the LMC Transfer Center in Room CC3-434 for more information, or call 439-2181, ext. 3124.
