Spring Workouts With Coach Horn, When: Spring Workouts, M,W,F @ 3pm Where: Mustang Stadium, adjoining fields and weight room The workouts are welcome to all athletes interested in improving their skills and conditioning in relation to the sport of football. Workouts are independent of Los Medanos College and will consist of not only strength and conditioning, but specific position skills as well. The objective of these workouts is to improve stamina, performance, core strength, speed, agility, quickness, and power. Athletes are asked to not be late and to prepare properly for each session. This entails having eaten breakfast at least 2 hours prior to the session. Breakfast should also consist of easily digestible foods. Athletes are also encouraged to hydrate properly prior to workouts. One should be consuming at least 96 ounces of water daily. This is essential to all processes of the body. Water will be available at all times during the workouts. Please bring cleats to both Saturday and Sunday workouts. If the weather is bad, workouts will be held inside, but do not assume anything.
