The Bay Honors Consortium and Mills College invite community college honors faculty to the beautiful Lokey Graduate School of Business for the fifth annual Honors Faculty Roundtable. Last year's event brought together over sixty honors faculty and staff from thirteen Bay Area colleges for a stimulating day of innovation, camaraderie and conviviality.
We are pleased to welcome Alfred Herrera, Director of the UCLA Center for Community College Partnerships and Vice Provost for Academic Partnerships as our keynote speaker. Deeply committed to equity, diversity and Honors Programs, Vice Provost Herrera's talk, and the following hands-on workshop, will give you tangible ways you can cultivate diversity in your Honors Classroom and Program.
The Roundtable is located in the Mills College Graduate School of Business (GSB) which is at the intersection of Richards Road and Kapiolani Road. (Click here for a Campus Map.)
When you enter Mills through the main entrance on MacArthur Boulevard you are on Richards Road. Please inform the guard at the entrance gate that you are there for the Honors Roundtable at the GSB.
Parking is freel on Saturdays but can fill up given the numerous events happening on campus. You may park in all the available spaces on Richards Road, or in the parking lot behind the GSB of Kapiolani Road. Disabled parking spaces are available in the lot behind GSB and there is a ramp up to the building. Overflow parking is available in the Richards Lot which is on the right immediately after entering Mills College.
