Benefits to Others:
- By eliminating students taking the same course at the secondary and post secondary levels, education funds are better utilized.
- The process leads to better collaboration between education systems and industry for the benefit of our students and parents.
- Success breeds success. Federal and state grants are available to foster this work – Perkins IV, Tech Prep, and SB 70/SB1133. Industry partners have also donated funds to build these education pipelines due to the current skilled worker shortage.
- The community as a whole benefits since this work results in workforce and economic development of the region.
