Computer Support Specialist AS Degree The Computer Support Specialist Associate of Science degree and/or certificate curriculum will prepare students for entry-level positions and professional advancement in fields such as network and/or security support, help-desk support, and software and/or hardware support specialists. These jobs require excellent customer service, communication and computer skills and can be found in a variety of organizations in either public or private sectors. In order to earn an AS degree, students must complete all graduation requirements.
Students obtaining an AS degree will need to complete the IGETC requirements or LMC's associate degree requirements to reach 60+ units based on the courses the student needs to complete.
Students obtaining an Basic or Advanced certificate of achievement will need to complete LMC's English and Math competency requirements by either completing the following courses, or assessing above the level of these courses:
