Explore Your Options for Travel Careers

We are offering a one-day course, TRAVL-71, "Orientation to Careers in Travel" at the Los Medanos College campus on Saturday, December 6. This is our only on-campus course, and while it is not required, if you live in the area, you may want to register for it. This course will give you a chance to meet with us and ask any questions face to face. In the meantime, if you have specific questions about the program, or about the exciting opportunities in the travel industry, please contact Debbie Wilson at dwilson@losmedanos.edu.

Network with Home-Based Travel Professionals

Are you a home-based travel professional? Are you considering starting a home-based travel business? Are you curious and want to know more? If your answer is "yes" to any of these questions, you are invited to attend an upcoming meeting of the Outside Sales Support Network (OSSN). Meetings are generally held in the Walnut Creek, California, area about once a quarter. For questions about upcoming meetings, please contact Chris McGill at cmcgill@losmedanos.edu.

Registering for Courses

Our Fall, 2008, semester started August 18. In addition to the semester-length courses, which have already started, we are offering some late-start courses as well. For a look at the Fall 2008 schedule, go to the Los Medanos College website at www.losmedanos.edu and search for "Travel Department" classes.

If you have a specific question about any of our classes, please e-mail Debbie Wilson at dwilson@losmedanos.edu.

New students should complete the application process as soon as possible and get a student ID number. Our classes fill very quickly, so don't wait too long!
