The cruise industry is a booming, multi-billion dollar industry. More and more cruise ships are built every year in response to the growing demand of cruisers. Cruise Specialists are required by the cruising public to counsel them on which cruise line and destination would be most suitable.
This 8-unit certificate can be completed in 1-2 semesters. If all three required courses are offered in the same semester, it is possible to complete this certificate in one semester. However, all the courses are not offered every semester, in which case the certificate can be completed in two semesters.

Travel 76 – Travel Sales and Marketing (3 units)
Travel 77 – Customized Vacation Planning (2 units)
Employment Opportunities: Cruise Specialist at a full-service or cruise-only
travel agency or cruise line. Consider becoming a Home-Based Cruise Specialist
after you take the appropriate courses in Home-Based Travel.
