Group Study Rooms

• Are you looking for a quiet place to study for finals, or do your assignments?
• Are you working on a group project?
• Do you need a place to meet a tutor, or are you looking for a place for your club to meet?
• Do you want to do some online research in a quiet, private environment?
• Or do you just want a quiet space to get some reading and thinking done?

If you answered "yes" to any of the above, the LMC Library has some Group Study Rooms that you can use. There are five Group Study Rooms, each with seating for 4-12 people.

The rooms have whiteboards if you need to draw or teach inside them. They also have wireless access, so you can bring your laptop in to do research. If you don't have the laptop, the library also has a laptop checkout program - talk to Media Services on the second floor of the library to check out a laptop for the duration of your reservation. You'll need your library card.

To make a reservation for a Group Study Room, stop by the Circulation Desk on the first floor of the library and talk to library staff behind the desk. You can reserve a room for up to four hours a day, up to a maximum of eight hours a week.

Please be on time for your reservation. The library holds rooms for half an hour after the reservation time. After that, the room may be reserved by other students.

You can also walk-in and use an empty room, but please be aware that another student may ask you to leave if they have the room reserved.
