The purpose of the Reading and Writing Center is to support you, LMC students, with reading and writing needs in all classes. Perhaps you just need help reading and understanding an assignment. Maybe you need someone to listen to your ideas before you begin writing. Or are you confused about organization, the structure of your essay?

Appointments

Students can schedule appointments in person with the receptionist or call (925) 439-2181 ext.3176.

• Students can make three appointments at a time.
• Students are expected to keep appointments made with
  consultants. If unable to keep an appointment,
  please cancel as soon as possible.
• Please be aware that three missed appointments may
  result in termination of individual appointments for the semester.
